TFCN’s Sister Company Takes Home Silver for 2010 Olympic Games

(November 2010) TFCN is thrilled to announce, The Look Company, sister company to TFCN, took home the Silver award at this years 4th Annual International Sports Event Management Awards held in London, England earlier this month. The Look Company won this prestigious internationally recognized award for their outstanding performance and dedication at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Games, under the “Event Look” category. The “Event Look Award” is awarded to the most effectively defined event that captures the “spirit of the Games”, inside and outside the games venues.

“It was one thing to be a part of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, but to be nominated and win Silver within such a prestigious category is truly an honor for the whole team.” Says Scott Anderson, President and COO of TFCN. “It’s an exciting time for us here, a lot of long hours and hard work went into this monumental event and it’s wonderful to be able to share this award with everyone that was involved.”

TFCN helps Bell Ice Cube achieve gold status

(October 2010) Back in early 2010, TFCN, a Look Group Company caught even more Olympic fever with there contribution to the Bell Ice Cube exhibit in downtown Vancouver. The Bell Ice Cube was created to feature televised Olympic entertainment (past & present), provide product demo’s and even host a daily live show, showcasing current Olympic athletes during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. TFCN worked with Firework Marketing Group, the main designers/builders for this exhibit to create the brilliant back-lit wall application.

“This project truly showcased the powerful and stunning image quality that our Luminous™ back-lit fabric creates and we were delighted that we had the pleasure to take part in this project alongside with Fireworks Marketing Group” Says Scott Anderson, President and COO of TFCN. “For this application, the Luminous™ was back-lit with an LED lighting system that enhanced the vibrancy of the colours and images. Uniquely it has the ability to work with florescent lighting and even natural ambient sunlight to bring images to life as well.”

Although the Luminous™ back-lit fabric has increasingly become utilized within LED backlit systems for tradeshows and displays, the printed fabric also creates stunning, visual images, virtually anywhere there is natural light. Applications such as window blinds, window displays and sky-lights, virtually anywhere there is natural ambient sunlight to back-light the image”.

This month, Event Design Magazine awarded Fireworks Marketing Group, gold winner within the Best Consumer Event/Exhibit/Environment category for their success with the Bell Ice Cube. TFCN is thrilled to have been a part of this project. Congratulations!!!
